Dr Paul Ng
Dr Paul Ng is one of the founding partners of Outlook Eye Specialists. He consults at at 3 Gold Coast Locations – Southport, Coolangatta and Robina.
He performs surgery at the Pindara Day Procedure Centre, Benowa and at the John Flynn Hospital, Tugan.
Dr Paul Ng attained his medical degree at the University of Sydney. He trained in Comprehensive Ophthalmology at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne. This was followed by fellowship years at the Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge UK and Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. He has completed a dedicated Medical Retinal fellowship at Moorfields. Following his return to Australia, Dr Ng worked at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney before beginning practice on the Gold Coast in 2001.
Dr Ng is at the forefront of technological advances in Ophthalmology, particularly in the field of retinal imaging. He has extensive experience in OCT (Optical Coherent Tomography), Autofluorescence and ICG angiography.
He regularly attends international conferences to ensure that he keeps abreast of the latest technological advances and clinical trials relevant to retinal practice. Dr Ng is also a reviewer of Medical Retinal papers submitted to “Clinical & Experimental Ophthalmology”.
Dr Ng provides a comprehensive ophthalmological practice including cataract and glaucoma care. For the past 10 years, Dr Ng has been involved in the Regional Eye Health Programme providing ophthalmic services predominantly to indigenous patients on the Cape York Peninsula.
